A full moon rose over the forest.The season was winter and the night was clear and cool. Already a layer of frost had covered the ground.  In a small clearing, the mighty unicorn,Alyssa, lay down by an ice covered pool, next to a burrow.   The forest came alive with activity and the unicorn watched as creatures came to the clearing. The full moon was a magical night of peace for all creatures of this forest.   A holiday, though many of the short-lived animals could not remember the reason why there was a holiday on the full moon. The unicorn remembered, and she hoped the other wise and long-lived animals did as well.
